Dr. Richard Chow paid a two-day visit to the University.
On the first day, he was met by Professor Kathryn Haynes, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law & Politics and then attended a dinner hosted by Professor Chloe Wu.
On the second day, he had a meeting with John McLoughlin, Ben Butler, Jin An and Tariq Sadiq of the Development and Alumni Relations Office. He also attended a Networking Lunch with various Hull faculty members, including Steve Pymount. Valerie Monaghan. Richard Keegan, Steve Johnson, Nick Snowden, Di Dean and Laura Hopton. Various matters concerning the development of the university were discussed, particularly Hull programs in Hong Kong.
As the City of Hull was selected as the “City of Culture” in the UK in 2017, there were various cultural events in Hull. CAIRNS Sculptures were exhibited on Hull campus and Dr. Chow was taken for a sculture tour by Laura Hopton. In the evening, he also had a chance to visit the centre of the city to have dinner and drinks with John McLoughlin and Jin An.
